Wallet & Transaction UX
Difficulty Sending Multiple Payments
In traditional crypto apps, sending funds to multiple wallets means repeating the process manually for each recipient — wasting time and increasing the risk of errors. Users needed a simpler, faster way to send batch payments in a single transaction.
No Native Way to Schedule Crypto Transfers
Unlike banks or fintech apps, most blockchain platforms lack a way to schedule payments for future dates. This created friction for DAOs, freelancers, and payroll teams who needed automated, recurring, or time-based disbursements.
Fragmented Request & Payment Workflows
Requesting funds or managing shared expenses often requires jumping between wallets, messaging apps, and spreadsheets. There was a clear need for an app where users could request and send money all in one place, with clear tracking and conversation history.
Web3 UX Is Still Intimidating
Many users find Web3 apps confusing, technical, and unintuitive, especially when it comes to wallets, gas fees, or transaction status. There was a strong need for a more user-friendly experience that feels like using a fintech app, not writing Solidity.
Lack of Smart AI Assistance in Finance
Crypto apps rarely provide personalized help or task automation. Users have to figure things out on their own. An AI-powered assistant could help users navigate tasks, suggest actions, and answer questions in real-time, improving confidence and speed.
The approach:
Streamlined Batch Payment Flow
We designed a single-entry flow where users can input multiple wallet addresses and amounts, preview the transaction, and execute all payments in one blockchain transaction, saving time and gas.
Smart Contract Scheduling Layer
To enable future payments, we built a custom scheduling logic on top of smart contracts, allowing users to automate crypto transfers at a set date/time — mimicking recurring payments in traditional banking.
Unified Request & Payment Hub
We created a social layer within Blockpal where users can send or request money from friends, view pending actions, and track past transactions — all in one seamless interface.
Built-in AI Chat Assistant
Instead of building a narrow task assistant, we integrated a conversational AI experience — more like ChatGPT, but focused on Web3. Users can chat freely about crypto, DeFi, and transactions, ask for clarifications, learn how things work, or get help structuring actions (e.g., “How do I send USDC to 10 people?”).
Fintech-Inspired UX for Web3 Tasks
Instead of mimicking other crypto wallets, we drew inspiration from modern fintech apps — with clear status feedback, wallet syncing, minimal steps, and helpful UI cues — to make Web3 feel friendly and familiar.
